‘Tis the season to start getting organized for the holidays!  First item on the to-do list? The Christmas tree.  While you can’t find them sold on every street block or Costco (and forget about a chop-it-yourself farm), Hong Kong has plenty of options for Christmas trees.  From US-imported firs to funky fakes, you’ll usually find what you are looking for (or close enough) — whether you are going for nostalgia or starting new traditions.  Now on to tinsel and ornaments!

Anglo Chinese Florist (Central) Not the cheapest but good quality.  You choose and they deliver, set up and come to collect for a small additional fee.

Chun Hing Garden (Happy Valley) Go with the family and pick one out.  Imported from the US; they will deliver and set-up for you.

Ikea (Multiple locations) Trees shipped from Scandinavia are reasonably priced; order by phone or pick one up at the store.

Wellcome and Market Place by Jasons  These stores offer a variety of sizes.  You can order ahead or pick up when you are doing your shopping.

Flower Market (Mongkok) Starting from the end of November the streets are lined with trees of all sizes.  You can pick one out and have it delivered.  There are also wreaths and other decorations for sale at many of the stores.  Brighten is a favorite spot for stocking up on ornaments and more.
