Are you working in Hong Kong and what do you do? I am a naturopathic physician at IMI (Integrated Medicine Institute).
What brought you to Hong Kong and why have you stayed? My dad has lived here for 20 years and my husband came to work for him. We have stayed as we love Hong Kong, our lives here, and our work here — and thus, it has become home.
What time of day do you check Hong Kong Moms? At the moment, while breastfeeding in the middle of the night!
What posts do you comment on and why? Obviously, health ones — but they can be controversial. Also, travel info and general Hong Kong questions. I try to stay out of the heated discussions!
What is the best thing you have learned from Hong Kong Moms? A lot of practical tips about Hong Kong and recommendations for traveling with kids. I also find the perspectives from different cultures and personalities fascinating.
What is your favorite Hong Kong Moms post? I love the positive posts. A week or so ago there was one where a student helped a younger boy get home safely. They restore my faith in humanity.
What do you ask Hong Kong Moms? Boring things mainly — like recommendations for kids or where to get something in HK.
What is your biggest Hong Kong fave? Frustration? Fave: Efficiency. Frustration: Pollution
What is your craziest Hong Kong experience? I had my computer stolen from my bag on an escalator in iSQUARE mall in TST. On a positive, I am constantly amazed at the two-degrees-of-separation here!
